Jared Isaacman has committed $5 million to support UPMC Children’s Heart Institute. This generous gift from Isaacman will help UPMC Children’s Hospital Foundation to realize our vision for expanding one of the top pediatric and heart surgery programs in the country.
Part of the expansion for the Heart Institute includes a new, state-of-the-art facility, slated to open in June of 2026. The new Heart Institute will provide patients and families with all services in one location for an optimal continuum of care, as well as specialized medical staff devoted to only Heart Institute patients, and cutting-edge technology to elevate patient care.
“We’re incredibly grateful for Jared Isaacman’s generosity and the impact this gift will have on pediatric heart care in Pittsburgh, the state of Pennsylvania and even for kids around the world,” Rachel Petrucelli, President of UPMC Children’s Hospital Foundation said. “The expanded UPMC Children’s Heart Institute will deliver care that is more innovative, seamless, and accessible to every child who needs it.”
