We are the sole fundraising arm to support to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

Story

After losing their son, Maddox, in a tragic accident nine years ago, Maddox’s parents decided to create an organization to help out other children in need. The family founded Trucks for Maddox in 2012, and has been helping kids ever since.

Trucks for Maddox partnered with the Eye Care Clinic at UPMC Children’s to create the Trucks for Maddox Optical Assistance Fund. This fund helps give children the gift of clearer vision and families financial relief to do so.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Trucks for Maddox Charitable Trust, children who qualify can receive a pair of eyeglasses through the Eye Center and the Optical Shop.
