Children’s Hospital Heart Institute Auxiliary
For children and families facing congenital heart defects, only the highest level of compassionate care and the greatest access to comprehensive treatment options will do.
The Heart Institute Auxiliary of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation was formed to establish a network of volunteers who are committed to helping physicians and staff of the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC transform the lives of patients and families facing these life-threatening conditions.
The Auxiliary hosts various fundraising events and campaigns throughout the year, which help increase awareness and raise funds to:
- Support innovative services and research
- Improve treatment options
- Acquire state-of-the-art equipment
