Did you know… 92 percent of Americans surveyed have a more positive image of a company that supports a cause they care about. 72 percent of Americans wish their employers would do more to support a cause or social issue.* There are many different ways your business or corporation can support the Children’s Hospital mission of excellence in patient care, teaching and research. Explore the information below and the links on the left. Direct Gifts A gift from your corporation or corporate foundation is a sound investment in the community where you do business and where your employees live and raise their families.
New Hospital Building Fund During the The Possibilities Are Growing campaign, significant philanthropic support affords the opportunity to have a room or feature of the new hospital campus named in honor of your organization. Matching Gifts Even if your organization does not have a formal matching gifts program, you can establish a campaign among your employees to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and use a company match to motivate giving. Event Sponsorships Throughout the year, the Foundation’s various events for donors and the public present opportunities for your corporation to join in supporting the hospital and helping to spread the word about the value of supporting the region’s pediatric hospital. Examples include the Children’s Hospital Foundation Golf Outing (each October), and the New Hospital Celebration (April 2009). For more information, view our Events section. Gifts-in-Kind It is possible that the hospital or Foundation might have need of a product or service related to your business. Contact us at the information below to learn more. Employee-Driven Campaigns Employee-driven fund-raising campaigns, such as bake sales or casual days, can be done on an annual basis or focused in a shorter period. Such a project allows employees to “give back,” while exercising their creativity and leadership.
