What’s It All About?
You may know friends, classmates, relatives or neighbors who have turned to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for desperately needed medical care. Many of these kids need all the emotional and financial support they can get, especially from other kids, and that’s where the Kids Helping Kids campaign comes in. It’s all about rallying behind the kids who need help in ways most of us can't even begin to imagine.

Kids Helping Kids: It's Fun and Rewarding
Students gain experience in philanthropy, community-building, planning, and organization when you join our Kids Helping Kids Campaign. There are lots of cool fundraising ideas and your campaign can last a week, a month or the entire school year.

In the 2008-2009 school-year, more than 100 schools participated in the campaign and raised almost $90,000. Congratulations to Avonworth High School, for raising almost $22,000, making them the top fundraising school for the past three years. Many thanks to all who participated.

Get Started
Start raising funds for Children's Hospital today - just follow these three easy steps:
Step One: Review, complete and return our Third Party Fundraising Proposal (PDF).
Step Two: Once your project is complete, mail in the donation form (PDF) along with your donation.

Senior Projects
Raising funds for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC is an excellent senior project. Students have raised funds by using these fundraising ideas. All senior projects must be approved by Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation prior to beginning a project. Please review and sign the guidelines for fundraising events (PDF) and complete the fundraising event application form (PDF) prior to beginning your project.

Due to privacy and infection control regulations, Children's Hospital does not allow students to visit patient rooms or engage in hands-on activities with patients, but we do share with patients and their families the wonderful contributions made by area students. Once a project is completed, students are welcome to visit the hospital to present a check to the Foundation and take a photo in our main lobby.
